New Solutions from Fannie Mae to Simplify Your Lending Process and Gain More Certainty 

In December, Fannie Mae released Desktop Underwriter® (DU®) early assessment, a new pre-qualification offering that allows lenders to submit a single bureau soft credit report and receive a conditional DU recommendation to determine homebuyer preparedness and mortgage options earlier in the home buying process.
