Launched in early 2017, our Collaboration Labs have provided significant value to our lender member companies. We like to think of them as professional networking done right, with intent and structure. With an end goal of having all participants return home from a Lab with very specific ideas, initiatives, and best practices that will enable them to grow market share and to operate their companies more efficiently and profitably.
The concept is simple. We form Lab groups consisting of the CEO's and key decision makers from 6-10 TMC Lender Member companies of similar size and scope that don't directly compete with one another. The TMC team facilitates the execution of a mutual NDA, the collection of a set of defined benchmarking metrics and key performance indicators, and handles all of the planning and communication related to the Collaboration Lab and the agenda.
Nearly 40% of our lender member companies participated in a Lab in 2018, and we're planning our first Collaboration Lab Summit in New Orleans for Summer of 2019. We're adding new members to our existing groups and forming new ones!
